Mark of Jacob Sakes, Kollum, 1642, also struck with later Dutch duty mark
Tapering cylindrical, on plain circular rim with corded band above, the upper part engraved with scrolling foliage and flowers, with three cartouches surmounted by masks depicting coat-of-arms, the lower part with a hunting scene near a village with a church, the base pricked B : E and No J, marked on base
