Shaped oblong, the slightly waisted lobed bombé body on four scroll feet with foliate terminals, and with shaped moulded border, the two handles with acanthus bud centres, the domed cover with detachable foliate ring handle, the body engraved twice with a coat-of-arms, the cover twice with a crest, marked on base, cover and handle, the base also stamped 'GREEN WARD GREEN'
