Slightly flattened lobed baluster form, on shaped oval foot, chased with stylised rosette and scroll borders, the body chased with Oriental character and dragon motifs on a partly-textured ground, the handle formed as a grotesque creature with ivory insulators and arm and leg-shaped terminals, the hinged slightly domed cover with a salamander finial and scroll thumbpiece, marked on base, cover and handle
