A Victorian large walnut striking five-glass clock with wall bracket, circa 1870
With stepped top and part bombé base, with silvered sight ring to square silvered and engraved Roman dial with foliate scroll spandrels, blued steel spade and pointer hands, signed A. DE BOOS/20, DOWN ST./PICCADILLY, the eight day twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, with pendulum holdfast to the back plate -- 12½in. (32cm.) high; and the wall bracket en suite -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high (2)
