Super-chancery 4° (219 x 153mm). Gothic type in black and red, double column, shoulder notes, one woodcut. (Printing flaw on K2 affecting a few words, some worming, a little light soiling on a few leaves.) Contemporary blindtooled pigskin, leather spine labels (repaired at edges). Provenance: some early marginalia -- erased ink inscription on title-page -- Bibliothek Oberherrlingen (bookplate, with date '1839' and initials 'E.M.').
