The Sentences of the Council of Basel of 1439, which affirmed that belief in the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary was in accordance with the Catholic faith, is ascribed to Gerson by GW. Voull (K) 347; BMC I, 254; Goff G-217.
