Speculum animae peccatricis. Paris: [Antoine Chappiel for] Denys Roce, [c. 1503].
Chancery 8° (136 x 93mm). Gothic types, printer's device on first and last page, initial spaces with guide-letter. (Dampstained.) Modern burgundy velvet.
This work was at one time attributed to Dionysius Carthusiensis but is now considered to be the work of either Jacobus de Gruytrode or Jacobus de Clusa (also recorded as Jacobus de Jüterborg or de Paradiso). C 5563; Polain(B) 3570; CIBN vol. II, p.589 (dated to c.1503 on the state of the device); Goff (Suppl.) S-649a.
