CIRCA 1730, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, DREHER'S ** TO FOOTRIM
Of flared form, the ground reserved with two quatrefoil panels, one painted and gilt with peony and chrysanthemum above a banded hedge, the other with chrysanthemum and leaves, the footrim with a gilt band, the interior with similar flowers below a puce and red diaper-pattern border with iron-red and gilt demi-flowerheads at intervals (hairline crack from rim)
