CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, PRESSNUMMER 52
Painted in the manner of C.F. Herold with two figures and a hare on a terrace with palm trees, within a quatrefoil cartouche gilt with ombrierte gilt scrolls, shells and diaper-pattern panels and strapwork enclosing Böttger-lustre panels, within a gilt border of hatched panels and interlocking scrolls, the underside with three sprays of indianische Blumen, gilt band to footrim (area of wear to cartouche and slight wear to gilding)
