CIRCA 1755-60, GILT WHEEL MARK, IMPRESSED IS TO FOOTRIM
Painted with two exotic birds perched on the branches of a small tree in a wooded landscape, one branch suspending a gilded cage with a songbird, surrounded by scattered butterflies, insects and caterpillars, some with shading, the border with a broad brightly coloured zig-zag chequered band edged with gilt scrolls suspending garlands of gilt flowers, gilt line rim (small areas of wear and minor glaze pitting)
