Modelled by J.P. Melchior, seated on a pile of stones leaning slightly back and gazing upwards, wearing a white cap with green and puce stripes, a pink jacket and yellow breeches with dark-purple dashes, holding a beaker in his left hand and a covered ewer in his right, on a shaped grassy mound base edged with rocks (beaker restored, chip to right foot with some overpainting to disguise it, slight and minute chip to footrim, areas of slight wear to pink enamel)
