A gold quarter repeating and musical open faced pocket watch
Inscribed Breguet et fils. Circa 1830
The gilt half plate movement with chased and engraved hanging barrels for the going train and music work, monometallic balance with cylinder escapement, the music train playing on the hour or at will by operating a slide in the band, the repeating train mounted on the top plate and operated by depressing the pendant and striking on two gongs, the white enamel dial with stylised Arabic numerals, fine blued steel hands, inscribed Breguet et fils at 6, the gold case with sunburst decoration to the reverse, ribbed band with hinged back and gilt cuvette
