The full plate gilt movement with bridge to the going barrel, plain gilt cock with ruby endstone, monometallic balance, flat hairspring, large blued steel regulating arm, the Robin anchor and detent escapement visible through the top plate, the finely engine turned silver dial with regulator layout, eccentric polished chapter ring with Roman numeral at VI, polished seconds ring with Arabic 10 second markers at XII, outer minute ring with Arabic 10 minute markers on small polished cartouches, signed to a polished sector at XII, in gold and silver engine turned open face case with gold rim to the back and bezel, gold pendant with ring bow

This is one of the designs, introduced in 1791, by Robert Robin (1742-1799). However, it needed great skill to make but was less efficient than the lever escapement.
