The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with foliate engraved top plate, unusually small pierced and engraved bridge cock and monometallic balance, extra wheel in going train to give 8 days duration, verge escapement with unusually screwed adjustment for the escape wheel, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five-minute divisions, decorative gold hands, in plain consular case, maker's mark CR
