Signed Robert Theurer & Fils, Chaux-de Fonds, No. 56406. 1850
The frosted gilt bar movement jewelled to the second with bimetallic balance and counter poised lever escapement, the mechanism wound by operating the slide in the band, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, blued steel decorative hands, the hands set by pulling on a button in the band and rotating in the desired direction, engine turned gold case, the back decorated with a galloping horse and with hinged cuvette
