The frosted gilt chain fusee movement with engraved cock and foot, free sprung bimetallic Z balance, blued steel helical spiral with end curves and adjustable vice, Arnold's spring detent escapement with ruby locking stone, screwed chatons, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, large subsidiary seconds, outer minute ring, gold hands, in (later) well made silver consular case with the mark MRM for Martin Matthews
