The 652 mm. long barrel with primary and secondary speculum mirrors, a dust cap at each end, engraved signature on the backplate, screw-rod focusing and two mounting screws, the narrow mounting plate tilting on a compass joint from a tapering brass column with three folding inswept legs terminating in scroll feet, with two brass eyepiece tubes, one with smoked glass, the mahogany case lined in pale green silk with embroidered green flowers, with removable fittings padded with green felt, two brass carrying handles and two brass hooks and eyes
