The white enamel Roman chapter ring with blued steel moon hands, recessed white enamel centre with large visible Brocot escapement with jewelled pallets, all within an ormolu bezel with Greek key pattern decoration, the subsidiary calendar enamel dial below with outer annular month ring, subsidiary rings for day or week and date with moonphase below within a painted starry sky, the movement with twin going barrels, pendulum regulation with regulation square above chapter XII on the dial, strike on a bell secured to the backplate with maker's stamp GVF REY JNE. BREVETÉ, 2201, 1213, the substantial and well made case with canted angles bevelled glass to the four sides and on a rectangular moulded base
