THE PORCELAIN, CIRCA 1755-60
Each finely modelled with brown beak and striped claws, their plumage enriched in light chestnut-brown and soft puce and with yellow and puce patches around their black-brownish eyes, perched on a tree-stump applied with flowers and leaves and painted with flower sprays, on later ormolu rocaille scroll bases in the Louis XV style
