The crossbanded reversible top with gilt tooled leather inset and reversing to a mustard baize lining and revealing a backgammon board above a plain frieze with applied rosettes and box drawers and reversible checquered slide, on square tapering legs ending in sabots, alterations to top, possibly originally incorporating gameboard, mounts to top later
