Khmer, Angkor Period, Baphuon Style, 11th Century
Very well carved with elegant outline, wearing a finely pleated sampot secured with a belt and intricately tied knot at the waist, her face with a benign expression with almond shaped eyes beneath gently arched brows and full lips, the conical headdress incised with geometric floral patterns and flared rim, the surface with a fine polish
