Lot Essay

This model represents one of a very numerous class of Midland Railway Class 3 main line goods engines, originally designed by Johnson with round-topped boilers and small cabs. This particular model shows the final Belpaire-boilered rebuild with Deeley cab but with slightly altered detail variations adopted by the LMS.
