Cal. 17''' nickel-finished lever movement, 31 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers onto a gong, gold cuvette, the later champagne dial with Breguet numerals, blued steel spade hands, subsidiary seconds, in circular case with inlaid blue and white enamel cartouche with initials DKE to the back, hidden hinges, repeating slide in the band, case and movement signed by maker and retailer, cuvette numbered, dial signed by retailer

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1915 and its subsequent sale on 3 October 1916. According to the Extract, it was originally made with an enamel dial which has most probably been exchanged by Tiffany & Co. against the present one.
