A MEISSEN PATE-SUR-PATE CIRCULAR BOX AND COVER
Late 19th/early 20th century, blue crossed swords mark, impressed 20, incised O.
The hinged cover with central roundel of a putto tossing flowers on a peach ground, withing a band of alternating dark and light blue shaped lappets enriched with pâte-sur-pâte flowers and foliage heightened with gilt all on a pale celadon ground with further flowers, the interior with a flower spray
