Each elongated oviform vase with domed cover, branch handles trailing moulded roots and flowering vines at the shoulder, each painted with the three-quarter portrait of a Levantine beauty on a ground of flowering arabesques reserved within a brown ogival cartouche decorated in platinum with stylized scallops on the turquoise ground gilt with scattered lozenges made from crescents, the symbol of Turkey, raised on a gilt pierced fretwork square base
