SHEFFIELD, 1953 AND 1980 AND BIRMINGHAM, 1928
Two of circular section, one with a bead and scroll border, supported on leaf-capped scroll feet, the other with a shaped border and scroll feet, engraved with a presentation inscription, the third of square section with a foliate border and an engraved inscription and facsmilie signatures, marked on front or on back
13¼ in. (33.6 cm.) diameter and smaller
82 oz. (2,545 gr.)
The first inscription reads: 'Presented by National Westminster Bank PLC to Phoenix Assurance Public Limited Company to commemorate the Bicentenary of both the Company and its relationship with the bank 1782 - 1982'

The second inscription reads: 'Presented to RUPERT POUNDS ESQ. as a token of esteem & regard by the Staff of the "PHOENIX" EAST LONDON BRANCH August 9th 1935' (3)
