A FOUR-LANGUAGE SHIP'S PAPER, printed in French, Spanish, English and Dutch, with the President's name printed boldly at the head of each column. 1 page, folio (21¼ x 16½ in.), with large, papered seal of the United States at center. PAPERS FOR A NEW BEDFORD WHALER. Permission to depart the port of New Bedford is granted to the Maria Theresa and her captain, Set D. Fisher, Jr. She carried 330 tons of "provisions, stores and utensils for a Whaling Voyage," bound for the Pacific Ocean.
