Modelled with three strolling players, with a lady standing reading a performer's palm, her tambourine and staff at her feet behind her, another performer disguised in a bear costume crawling on all fours to their right, his bridle attached to a lead held in her right hand, the lady wearing a tricorn hat, a purple-flowered puce jacket and large crinoline skirt, the central performer with a black skull-cap, white ruff, short purple cape, red trimmed white jacket and white pantaloons with red rosettes, before a marbled obelisk on a plinth, on a rocky mound and marbled plinth base with canted corners (bear's lead with chipping and section lacking from her hand to skirt, slight chipping to edge of base, chip to corner of obelisk plinth, small chip to her hat rosette and his left thumb)
