Painted in the manner of J.G. Höroldt with figures at a table and among furniture and utensils between flowering shrubs below birds and insects, within shaped quatrefoil cartouches below gilt scrolls enclosing Böttger lustre sections issuing purple and iron-red scrolls, between flowering shrubs issuing from a broad gilt band, the neck and spout with a band of interlocking gilt scrolls, the scroll handle with further flowers, the associated cover with a seated figure, a hound and a monkey between broad gilt bands (hairline crack above upper handle terminal, restored rim chip to cover, small areas of wear to gilding)
