Of squat baluster form, decorated in the Augsburg workshop of Sabina Auffenwerth with Chinoiserie figures taking tea, smoking, at discussion and holding a parasol flanked by flowering shrubs with insects in flight above, within gilt strapwork cartouches flanked by elaborate Laub-und-Bandelwerk, the cover similarly decorated and with gilt button finial, the scroll handle richly gilt, terminating on three gilt paw feet (cover with restored finial and small rim repair, pot with small rim chip and small rim repair, some minor wear to gilding of handle, upper rim of pot, rim of cover and finial)
