Engine: four cylinder, side valve, 747cc; Gearbox: four speed manual, with synchromesh on second and third gears; Suspension: front, transverse leaf spring, rear, quarter elliptic leaf springs; Brakes: four wheel drum. Right hand drive.

This Austin Seven Ruby was registered with Croydon Borough County Council on the 1st December 1933. Its old buff log book confirms that by 1961, the car was in Essex in the ownership of Charles Edgar Guiver of Hatfield Peverel, Nr. Chelmsford, and has remained in this area until today. After five years, Mr Guiver sold the Ruby to Terry Lawrence of Wickford, at which time it was repainted from black and grey to the present green livery.

It is offered with an old/continuation log book.
