the exterior painted in gold and black lacquer work with ladies and gentlemen at leisure in riverside gardens of pavilions, within a border of birds and butterflies amongst trailing flowers and foliage, the interior with silk lined compartmented tray and cover painted on silk with a central panel of further figures in a riverside garden within a broad richly painted border of butterflies and birds, fruit and flower sprays, the lacquer cover with central cartouche bearing the name 'Semqua', attached metal handles -- 26 3/8in. (67cm) wide.
