A GERMAN THREE-COLOUR GOLD AND PLATINUM SNUFF-BOX WITH ENAMEL RIM

Rectangular matted gold box with rounded corners, the cover and base chased with vases of flowers in three-colour gold and platinum, that on the slightly raised lid within an oval reserve framed by an opaque blue enamel fillet, that on the base within a rectangular fluted gold border, all surrounded by rosettes, shells, scrolling foliage and flowers in three-colour gold and platinum
