Persian manuscript on paper, 236ff. as numbered, each with 26ll. of black nasta'liq in four columns, gold divisions and margins between black rules, blue outer rule, headings over two columns in black thuluth on panels of red hatched and blue floral clouds, opening folio with later illuminated heading, four contemporary headings at start of remaining sections, Timurid, signed by 'Ali b. Amir Haji b. 'Ali al-Husaini al-Shirazi and dated 19 Jumada II AH 843/1439-40 AD at Kirman, black morocco binding, (smudging and staining, damages and repairs) - 9 x 5¾in .(22.8 x 14.6cm.)
