The hood with panelled sides and part brass stop-fluted columns, the trunk with part-fluted pilasters flanking a door with moulded frame, above panelled plinth, the 12 in. brass dial with foliate spandrels to Roman and Arabic chapter ring, the silvered centre engraved with foliate scrolls and with an eagle winged sandglass, subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture, the arch with disc signed Rich: Howard/BRENTFORD, the eight day movement with five pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike/trip repeat on bell; built up cheekboards, case possibly associated to movement and dial; crank key, pendulum
