Tibet, 17th Century
Standing in alidhasana atop a lotus base with beaded rim, holding a lotus stalk in his right hand and a skullcup in his left, wearing a tiger skin dhoti, garland of severed heads and skulls, a flayed elephant hide, beaded apron and festoons, ornaments and skull diadem, his hair drawn into a chignon with lotus bud finial, his consort similarly attired with apron and diadem, holding a chopper in her right hand and skullcup in her left, the faces with remains of cold gilding and polychromy
