Of typical form with rectangular section long tubular pencase with pronounced rounded ends, one hinged, one end with a rectangular section barrel-shaped inkwell, the ends and sides engraved with flowering sprays and with traces of gilding, stamped with tughra of Sultan Abdulaziz, the sah, and with the maker's mark of Fenni, slightly dented
