First part of the commentary on the Mukhtasar, or Compend on Maliki law by Khalili, entitled "The Jewels of Pearls in explantation of the Compend", Arabic manuscript on paper, 175ff. with 37ll. of sepia maghribi book hand, important words in red, numerous marginal notes, brown morocco binding with flap -- Folio 13.5 x 8¾in. (34 x 23.5cm.)
