The circular white enamel Roman dial signed Bruel a Paris with red painted concentric calendar ring, the movement with circular brass plates, twin spring barrels, the escapement with silk suspended pendulum, countwheel strike on a bell, surmounted by a classically draped maiden and a winged cherub, flanked by a rockwork and a quiver, the rounded rectangular panelled base worked with rosettes, on turned feet
