The first signed Hamano Naoyuki and seal, Edo period (19th century)
The first an oval shibuichi plate carved in low relief with a Chinese bean-curd seller, gilt and shakudo details; the second a mokkogata plate chiselled with basketwork and inlaid in pronounced silver, copper and shakudo takazogan with a dragonfly, snake and bat, the rim with a starburst design in gilt; the third a broad oval iron plate inlaid with a gilt dragon and kirin, with a roped rim
