In 1995, Steve Frankfurt (b.1931) was awarded the Hollywood Reporter's Key Art Lifetime Achievement Award. It was a fitting tribute to the man who began his career in the 1960s as a top creative director in a leading advertising agency. The images which he created for his Madison Avenue clients became known across America. From this auspicious beginning, he moved into the world of film production where he proceeded to enhance his already legendary status. His unique and original advertising campaigns revolutionised the way in which movies were marketed.
