ALICE'S COPIES, SIGNED, OF THE MINIATURE ALICE, later her son Caryl's copies with his bookplate. In 1907 the copyright expired on Alice and a number of editions appeared with interpretations by new artists. 'The original publishers, Messrs. Macmillan, marked the year [1907] by three successive issues of a 'Miniature Edition' in July, September, and December ... Through the Looking-Glass followed suit in Oct. 1908' (WMGC p.236). This set consists of the first printing of Through the Looking Glass and the second printing of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Williams, Madan, Green, and Crutch [260]. (2)
