Cylindrical, with beaded rims, the sides pierced and chased with pales, flowers and foliate scrolls, the scroll handle with palmette thumbpiece attached to plain cover, with blue glass liner, and an Onslow pattern spoon with twisted stem; the pepper-pot, vase-shaped on circular pedestal foot, the sides pierced with pales and a leaf scroll, with blue glass liner, the domed cover with piercing, contained in a black leather fitted case, fully marked, with a post card depicting the Houses of Parliament, the back inscribed by Queen Mary 'For Darling Richard with loving birthday wishes from Grannie Mary 31.
