Movement by Pons, retailed by Lund & Blockley, Circa 1872
The white enamel dial with Roman I-XII chapter ring with inner Arabic 13-24 concentric chapter ring, blued steel hands, signed beneath Exed. by Lund & Blockley 12 Pall Mall London, the movement with replacement platform lever escapement, hour and half hour strike on a gong, the backplate stamped with the exhibition medal 1827 Medaille d'or, Pons, corniche case with later repeat button to the top and dedication engraving to the front ALBERT. FROM HIS GODFATHER & UNCLE ALFRED DUKE OF EDINBURGH. XMAS 1872
