The White enamel Roman chapter disc with blued steel moon hands and signed W. Thornhill & Co. 144. New Bond Street London, alarm disc beneath and all within an engine-turned gilt mask, the movement with platform lever escapement, hour and half hour strike, repeat and alarm on a gong, the backplate with stamp for the maker Drocourt and numbered 18022, the tall moulded brass corniche-style case with handle to the top and dedication inscription TO HENRY WILLIAM FREDERICK ALBERT FROM HIS UNCLE AND GODFATHER ALEXANDER GEORGE OF TECK, MAY 17TH 1900; Together with the original green patinated leather travelling case
