The circular plate within a reeded ebonised slip, bronzed floral carving and a deep moulded frame with studded balls and ribbon-tied border, the cresting with an urn on pedestal flanked by acanthus leaf-scrolls, the shell apron with four square tapering branches with modern brass nozzles and cut-glass drip pans with drops, some missing, re-gilt and re-bronzed, the peripheral ornament possibly associated
