Titles and text in French and Italian, engraved portrait of the author (a little light foxing). Contemporary red straight-grained morocco, gilt spine, floral and leafy border round sides with a floral decoration at the corners, gilt edges. (upper cover a little marked, corners rubbed). Fore-edge painting depicting the Duomo at Milan.
