JUDAICA:- A 19TH CENTURY GALICIAN BEAKER,
"12" STANDARD MARK ONLY, PROBABLY 2ND QUARTER OF 19TH CENTURY,
Tapering sides with flared lip, engraved with a large stag and foliage below a band of zig-zag motifs, a Hebrew presentation inscription around the lip, presented by a religious Society to a synagogue warden (gabbai) named Hirsch, (German for "stag", hence the engraving), 2¾ in. high (7.1 cm.), 2 oz.
