Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1989 and its subsequent sale on 30 January 1990. It has never been offered at auction before.

The Officier model was made in a limited edition of 2000 pieces in yellow gold, 150 pieces in white gold and 50 pieces in platinum to commemorate Patek Philippe's 150th Anniversary in April 1989. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 123.
