The flowered overmantel mirror with its Grecian ecinous-moulded cornice raised as palm-wrapped trusses, is designed in the robust George IV fashion promoted by Henry Whitaker's, Designs of Cabinet and Upholstery Furniture in the Most Modern Style, 1825.
